Day camp coordinator

The Musée de la Gaspésie is a regional museum whose mission is to preserve and promote Gaspesian history, heritage and culture. We rely on a team of passionate professionals who share a common goal: to offer Museum visitors a unique experience in Gaspesian history, heritage and culture!

DESCRIPTION
As a coordinator, you will be placed under the supervision of the day camp manager. Your responsibilities will include :

  • planning and organizing historical and cultural activities;
  • managing a team of camp counselors;
  • ensure the smooth execution of daily activities while ensuring the safety of the participants.
  • be responsible for accompaniying the group on outings and maintaining a dynamic and responsible presence.

  • Versatile and imaginative
  • Dynamic and cheerful
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Experience with children
  • Proficiency in English and French, First Aid training is an asset
  • Available for training (evenings and weekends, dates to be determined)
  • Attend training dates

JOB CONDITIONS

  • Full-time job (35 hours), Monday to Friday, from June 24 to August 17;
  • Salary conditions ($19.29/hour) as per collective agreement;
