Day camp conselor

The Musée de la Gaspésie is a regional museum whose mission is to preserve and promote Gaspesian history, heritage and culture. We rely on a team of passionate professionals who share a common goal: to offer Museum visitors a unique experience in Gaspesian history, heritage and culture!

DESCRIPTION
As a camp counselor, you will be placed under the supervision of the day camp manager. This position will provide you with a valuable opportunity to gain experience in the field of animation and activity organization. Your responsibilities will include :

  • be responsible for planning and implementing activities for children aged 5 to 12;
  • be tasked with ensuring the safety of participants, accompanying the group on outings, and maintaining a dynamic and responsible presence.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Be versatile and imaginative
  • Be responsible, dynamic, and cheerful
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Experience with children
  • First Aid training is an asset
  • Available for training (evenings and weekends, dates to be determined)
  • Attend training dates

JOB CONDITIONS

  • Full-time job (35 hours), Monday to Friday, from June 24 to August 17;
  • Salary conditions ($18.46/hour) as per collective agreement;
