De la politique à l’éducation, de l’agriculture à la pêche, des lettres notariées aux lettres d’amour, chaque document témoigne de l’histoire de notre territoire et de ses gens.
The Musée de la Gaspésie accepts donations of objects and works of art that are in line with its mission and likely to enrich its collections.
If you wish to help safeguard the Gaspesian cultural heritage and add to the museum’s collections by donating an object or work of art, please e-mail the museum at conservation@museedelagaspesie.ca. , providing a written description of the item you would like to donate, and if possible, attach a photo. The collections manager will analyse your offer and may submit a recommendation to the executivecommittee which will then validate your donation to make sure it complies with the Musée de la Gaspésie .collections management policy.

The Musée de la Gaspésie archive centre accepts donations of archival documents that correspond to its mission. These may be photographs, postcards, maps, sound documents or visual recordings.
If you wish to help preserve the Gaspé’s heritage by donating one or more of these documents, please send an e-mail to archives@museedelagaspesie.ca. The archivist will be pleased to analyse your request in accordance with the archive centre’s acquisition policy, and to reply as soon as possible.
