Le Musée de la Gaspésie signe le renouvellement de la convention collective
Gaspé , 31 March 2022 . — Martin Roussy, General Manager of the Musée de la Gaspésie and Gabrielle Leduc, President of the Union of Workers of the Musée de la Gaspésie – CSN, are very pleased to announce that the employees and members of the Board of Directors unanimously accepted the agreement in principle for the renewal of the 2022-2025 collective agreement. "We are very happy with this new agreement, which allows us to consolidate good jobs under salary conditions that position the Museum as an attractive employer that adheres to the participative management model supported by the union," said Ms. Leduc and Mr. Roussy. They add, "We would like to thank the members of the management committee, Stéphanie Harnois, Andréanne Gauthier, Daniel Martin and Christian Roy as well as the members of the union negotiation committee, Vicky Boulay, curator of the Museum and Jordan Wilson, union adviser, for having conducted these negotiations with a common goal: to improve the working conditions of the employees of our museum institution. » The thirteen union members obtained a significant salary adjustment following the establishment of a salary scale that was the subject of a long process involving both parties. The Museum took the opportunity to also obtain pay equity. In addition, employees will be able to access additional vacation weeks more quickly. They will have access to a group insurance plan, potential access to a four-day-a-week schedule, a framework for remote work and the increase, in 2023, of the contribution to an RRSP. -30- Source: Gaspésie Museum Information : Martin Roussy, General Manager C: direction@museedelagaspesie.ca / T: (418) 360-3784 Gabrielle Leduc, President of the Union of Workers of the Musée de la Gaspésie – CSN C: coordo.direction@museedelagaspesie.ca / T: (418) 368-1534 ext. 102
